Early Childhood Educator – Part Time & Casual Positions for 2023

We are currently seeking expressions of interest from Cert III or Diploma qualified Early Childhood Educators to join Bethany Kindergarten Services, commencing Term 1, 2023.

We have various part time and casual relief opportunities available across multiple kindergarten locations throughout Geelong and the Bellarine.

About the role:

The Early Childhood Educator (Cert III & Diploma) is responsible for contributing to the development and implementation of high quality, innovative and inclusive early childhood education programs.

The Early Childhood Educator will contribute as required to the development, implementation and documentation of safe and developmentally appropriate education programs for each child.  The position will work as part of a team to ensure kindergarten operations comply with relevant legislation, regulations, policy and procedure including direct supervision of children and the creation and maintenance of a safe and healthy kindergarten environment.

In your cover letter, please outline the following:

  1. What you are looking for (part time or casual relief work) and the days/hours a week you would be available to work
  2. Your experience working within an early childhood education setting
  3. Your qualification – A minimum of Certificate III in Children’s Services (or equivalent as approved by Australian Children’s’ Education and Care Quality Authority – ACECQA) is required
  4. Confirmation that you have a current HLTAID012 First Aid certificate including annually updated CPR certificate, asthma and anaphylaxis certificates, or willingness to obtain this prior to commencement in the role
  5. Confirmation that you have a current Employee Working with Children Check
